  • Daily communication with overseas factories for each channel

9GG MULTI PLAID

This plaid v-neck sweater is made from cotton plated yarns to create a birdseye pique effect in the artwork. This was a key item driver for our long sleeve sweater program.

Celebrating 70 years of the Original Penguin brand - this anniversary capsule highlights the whimsy and nod to 1950's styling while amplifying a bold color palette and emphasizing subtle textures across knits and sweaters. Inspired by nostalgic mid century designs linking back to our heritage, this collection is reimagined for today's original guy.

Honoring our heritage and roots, the main inspiration came from our tagline "original good time" which celebrates whimsy and playfulness, which is the foundation of the brand. Going back to the 1950s, we explored these themes - quirky plaids, bold mid century prints, and an optical color story became the basis of the collection.

This small capsule collection features a mix of 100% cotton textured ribs, our core bentley mesh and raised pointelle inspired sweater stitch.

SPORTSWEAR CLASSICS

Going back to the 50s, we deep dived into retro polo silohouttes and styling details - including longer plackets, pop color earl tipping and dramatic point collars. We referenced archival original penguin ads and samples to inspire us - details that nod to our brands heritage and eccentric style.

Our spring delivery captures the nostalgia of the brand's heritage, fused together with vibrant topicals as we continue our journey of escapism.

This drop focuses on a more saturated palette, cultivating a new energy as we transition into warmer weather. 

Expect to find a continuous flow of rich teal type blues, combined with highly saturated reds, hints of butterscotch and neutrals to balance out the collection.
